Carbon Bubble: The Next Economic Crisis in the Making?
This event will be examining concerns that have been raised on the threat posed to the economy by the ‘carbon bubble’ -a massive over-valuation of fossil fuels held by oil and gas companies. While the result of oil and gas companies burning all their reserves would be disastrous environmentally, on the other hand an economic catastrophe could await us. Is this another crisis in the making and can it be avoided?
