This event follows two key speeches made on public sector reform by both Ed Miliband, at the Hugo Young memorial lecture  and Jon Cruddas, to the New Local Government Network conference  The aim of the discussion is to explore Labour’s view of the state, civil society and the public sector, and what this means in practical terms for the party’s policy offer in 2015.
